For a long time I've looked for a sewing pattern for a jumpsuit with short sleeves and legs without finding the perfect pattern. After making mash ups and hacking Threads by Caroline's patterns before I had the idea that maybe I could mix and match patterns again.
I gave it some thought and eventually the perfect jumpsuit formed in my head.
.
.
Here's how I made it:
I used the Victoria jumpsuit pattern and chose to sew it with a whole back with this tutorial: https://threadsbycaroline.com/blogs/news/victoria-without-buttons
.
.
I also wanted it to be cool to wear during summer so I chose not to sew the bodice with a lining and instead sewed a neckband. I also tried to sew it with a binding instead and both ways work perfectly. The jumpsuit could be easily pulled on and off without enlarging the neckline.
.
.
I shortened the length of the legs a couple of cm, then folded them up a few times.
I took the sleeves from the free Ester & Ebbe pattern.
.
.
Both these jumpsuits are sewn in size 98 with jersey fabric (cotton/lycra). For the neckband and binding I used ribb fabric.

I hope you feel inspired and want to try it yourself. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or on instagram. I'd love it if you tag me on instagram @mammasytt if you sew this Victoria hack, it would be great to see!
