The testers' Bonnie bags

The testers' Bonnie bags

The Bonnie moon bag is a crossbody bag for everyday use. I have personally used my own Bonnie bags EVERY day for the past months, since my first one was sewed. I truly love this bag model, and I've made Bonnie bags for my kids too, who also love their bags.

Before the pattern release I had help from a few pattern testers, who sewed their own bags and gave me valuable feedback so I could make some improvements. Thanks a million for your work!

Check out what they made!

Janine (@vrolijekvos on Instagram) made two gorgeous Bonnie bags, both in size Medium. This one with cotton canvas (from See you at six) with simple cotton lining; interlining only on the exterior fabric and one piece of the zipper pocket: Vlieseline H250.

Check out Janine's beautiful use of the pockets, where she sewed two pockets on top of each other instead of placing them on either side of the bag's lining pieces.

This bag was sewn from Teddy fabric with a linnen lining. Didn't use any interlining except for one piece of the zipper pocket.

Jenny (@jennymedj on Instagram), sewed this lovely bag in size Large. She used denim fabric with a mesh lining.

Fanny (fs.syr) sewed two bags, one in medium and one in large. The medium bag has a leo fleece fabric for exterior, combined with Vlieseline H630, and the lining fabric is cotton. The black, large bag has a quilted oxford fabric for exterior and cotton for lining.

Matilda (@essebro.collection) made a bag in size large. She used corduroy for exterior fabric, a no-name interlining and cotton for the lining.
Charlotte (@trio_med_bus) also sewed a medium sized bag. She chose corduroy for her exterior fabric, interlined with Vlieseline H630. The lining fabric is a woven cotton, no interlining, except for on the zipper pocket piece.
Yasmina (yas._.minaatjes) sewed a medium bag with denim for the exterior and polyripstop for the lining. She used fiberfill on the exterior fabric.
