I love a good pattern mashup! All the while creating the Sofia skirt I had this idea of sewing a bodycon dress through combining it with the Linnéa top.
While the pattern testers were all sewing the Sofia skirt and evaluating it, I eagerly placed my bodice piece from the Linnéa top together with the skirt piece from Sofia and just knew this would be magical.
The two patterns go so well together! And the result is a comfortable, figure hugging dress perfect for knit fabrics.
I sewed it in ottoman knit fabric with approx. 40% stretch. Love the rust-red color and especially the texture of the ottoman fabric. Both Linnéa and Sofia include many different variants, but here I chose Linnéa with a round neckline and 3/4 sleeves - and Sofia in knee-length pencil skirt.
We've included an illustration for how to combine the patterns inside the Sofia skirt tutorial.
If you have any questions, just holler! :)
